Effect

A spectator chooses a card from a deck of cards and signs his/her name across the face of the selected card. The card is replaced back into the deck and shuffled. Then the performer picks a card, which is revealed to be an indifferent card. He places it into a transparent plastic card holder. The spectators can see the face of the card inside the holder. As the magician makes a magical gesture, the indifferent card morphs into the signed selection. The card is removed from the holder and handed out for examination.

The magician explains that he made a prediction in the wallet. Then he introduces five ESP cards and have a spectator choose one from them. The performer takes out an envelope from the wallet and hand it to the volunteer. The prediction inside the envelope matches his selection.

Effect

A magician shows a picture of a pocketwatch which is sealed inside a lucite block. The lucite block is kept in a transparent plastic cover. A black spot on the plastic cover hides the watch face so that no can see when the watch was photographed. The magician asks a spectator to name any hour. (This is not the magician's choice or a force.) Then the lucite block is removed from the cover revealing that the watch diplays the same hour as the spectator's choice.

The performer shows a picture of a wine bottle and a glass. He introduces a piece of black paper and a punch. Then he punches a hole in the paper. He picks up a small circular piece dropped from the punch and explains that it looks like a real hole when it is placed on the photograph. When he makes a magical gesture, the circular piece begins to move by itself. The performer waves his finger under the photo to show that the small piece of paper has turned into a real hole. Spectators can see his finger through the hole. The magician drags the hole to the edge of the picture and picks it off. The performer shows both sides of the photo to prove there is nothing funny about the picture.

The magician opens a plastic wallet to show there is nothing inside. There are five holes on the wallet. Spectators are convinced that the wallet is obviously empty because they can see through the holes of the case. But when the performer shakes the wallet, a playing card appears inside the wallet. The card is taken out from the wallet which does not have enough space for a card to be concealed, and both sides of the card is shown to the spectators.

The performer places a plastic wallet which contains a prediction on the table. Then a spectator chooses a card from the deck. The magician places it on top of the deck without showing its face. He opens the wallet to show the prediction card. A name of a card is cut out. The selected card is turned face up, but the prediction does not match. When the performer flips the prediction card, the cut out changes to the correct name!

  Two Card Mystery by Katsuya Masuda - Trick    TM-1631

Effect

Performer shows one side of two cards. Next, he shows the other side of them. Spectators realize one card is regular and the other card is blank on both sides. Magician casts a spell on the cards. As the blank card is rotated, the back design of the regular card visibly vanishes. Now both cards are blank on one side. The rear side of the cards is shown revealing the back design was magically printed on the blank card. Magician casts a spell on the cards again. As the top card is slid over the other one, the back design visibly appears on the back of the regular card. Both cards have returned to their original state. They can be handed out for examination.
